Hawzah News Agency- In a statement issued following this year’s 22 Bahman demonstrations, the constitutional body commended what it called the “enemy-breaking and hope-crushing” presence of the Iranian people across the country.
“The noble and insightful nation of Iran once again created magnificent scenes of unity, faith, and steadfast commitment to the lofty ideals of Imam Khomeini and the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei,” the statement read.
The Assembly said the widespread and conscious participation in anniversary events—particularly the mass rallies—demonstrated that the bond between the Iranian people and their national and cultural values remains firm and inspiring.
According to the statement, the high turnout reflects political and social maturity, a strong sense of responsibility, and public determination to safeguard national cohesion in the face of mounting external pressures.
The Assembly of Experts described the participation as a “valuable national asset” that strengthens social hope, reinforces unity, and supports the continued progress and development of the Islamic Republic.
It also extended appreciation to all segments of society—including youth, families of martyrs, educators, university professors, workers, and other citizens—who contributed to turning the anniversary into a symbol of solidarity and a day of frustration for the enemies of Iran and the Islamic Revolution.
The statement expressed hope that the spirit of unity and engagement displayed during the rallies will continue to guide the country’s future path, urging officials to intensify efforts to improve living conditions and pursue major scientific, cultural, and economic objectives.
The Assembly concluded by voicing confidence that sustained public participation and responsible governance would pave the way for “a strong and proud Iran” aligned with the ideals of the Islamic Revolution.
Annual 22 Bahman rallies are held across Iran to commemorate the 1979 victory of the Revolution, with officials portraying the events as a manifestation of enduring popular support for the country’s political system and its independent course.
